People at Play: The Heavy Equipment Experience has a compelling story to tell that lends itself to all types of news media. Company owners Jason and Alisa Bennett are construction industry veterans with more than 13 years experience owning and operating an excavation and utility construction company in Bradenton, Florida.
The couple, driven to find new streams of revenue during the economic downturn, took their equipment to an undeveloped site to allow novices to learn to operate the equipment under their watchful eye. People at Play – the name is a tongue-in-cheek reference to ‘Men at Work’ – is proud to be the first of its kind construction playground or giant sandbox in the Southeast U.S. where adults can experience the thrill of operating heavy equipment in a fun construction themed environment.
